Letter from the President

Welcome to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School!

For almost a century, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School has provided a coeducational, college-preparatory education in the Roman Catholic tradition. Founded in 1927, the school provides programs serving pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. Located just off the docks of Hopkins Creek and only a mile away from Martin State Airport and the 175th Wing of the Maryland Air National Guard, the school is surrounded by the rich history of Maryland’s Eastern Baltimore County.

Each segment of the academic program focuses on the particular developmental needs of every child, providing them a challenging academic experience as soon as they step foot on campus. Through our dedication and commitment to each child as an individual, we develop graduates who thrive academically, spiritually, and socially.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel students are not just another number in a grade book. The small class sizes and low student to teacher ratios allow us a different lens when it comes to education, enabling us to educate and develop the whole person. Through various academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs, each and every Mount Carmel student has the opportunity to have a rich and fulfilling education as they journey into adulthood.

At every level of our school, we are blessed with the winning combination of excellent students, supportive parents, and determined educators pushing our students to their fullest potential. At Our Lady of Mount Carmel, graduates will continue onto college with the confidence, enthusiasm, and the academic skills necessary to be successful and create change in our world.

As you learn more about the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, we hope you feel the busy, vibrant community that is fueled by the talent, energy, and enthusiasm of our students and faculty. We are extremely grateful to our many alumni, families, and friends who support the mission of this wonderful school. We invite you to join us on the lively Our Lady of Mount Carmel campus to see firsthand why “We Are Mount Carmel.”

Sincerely,
