Letter from the President
Welcome to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School
For almost a century, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School has offered a coeducational, college-preparatory learning experience rooted in the Roman Catholic tradition. Founded in 1927, our institution serves students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Nestled near Hopkins Creek and Martin State Airport, with close proximity to the 175th Wing of the Maryland Air National Guard, our school enjoys a backdrop steeped in the rich history of Maryland’s Eastern Baltimore County.
Each segment of the academic program is tailored to meet the unique developmental needs of every student, ensuring a rigorous educational journey from day one. With a commitment to nurturing each individual, we cultivate graduates who excel academically, spiritually, and socially.
At Our Lady of Mount Carmel, students are more than just names on a roster. Small class sizes and a low student to teacher ratio enable us to provide holistic education, focusing on the complete growth of every student. Whether through academics, athletics, and extracurricular programs, each student at Mount Carmel finds ample opportunities for a fulfilling educational experience as they prepare for adulthood.
Throughout our school community, we are fortunate to have outstanding students, supportive parents, and dedicated educators who continuously inspire our students to achieve their utmost potential. Graduates of Our Lady of Mount Carmel leave equipped graduates with the confidence, enthusiasm, and the academic prowess needed to succeed and make a positive impact in the world.
