Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish exists as a community of faith founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic tradition. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are committed to answering the call of Jesus to evangelize - to go forth and spread the Good News. We seek to achieve this by serving God and one another. Religious Education at OLMC
All students at Our Lady of Mount Carmel take theology classes every year. In grade nine, students study Catholicism and Hebrew Scriptures. In grade ten, students study the New Testament and Church History. In grade eleven, students study Morality and Social Justice. In grade twelve, all students study Christian Lifestyles and then select either Jesus in the Media or a World religions class.

ACRE Testing
As dictated by the Archdiocese of Baltimore, all students in grades eight, nine and twelve participate in the ACRE Assessment which attempts to measure their achievement in knowledge of faith.
