High School Cafeteria Renamed in Honor of Kathy Sipes

On August 30, 2015 Our Lady of Mount Carmel School dedicated the high school cafeteria in honor of President Emeritus, Kathleen Sipes. The cafeteria was renamed The Kathleen Sipes Community Hall. A plaque is displayed inside the hall and new signage was added at it's entrance. The dedication took place during the Crab Feast that was attended by Ms. Sipes' family, friends, colleagues, alumni, parishioners and parents of past and present students. Proceeds from the event benefited the Michael and Kathleen E. Sipes Scholarship Fund. During the celebration, Action Business Systems, Mount Carmel's copier service, presented Ms. Sipes with a $1,000 check for the scholarship fund.
