Spanish Honor Society Celebrates Día de los Muertos
The Spanish Honor Society put together an amazing celebration for Día de los Muertos this past week. The hallways were decorated with papel picados (paper banners) and ofrendas, altars honoring the lives, and souls, of loved ones who have passed away. The students painted their faces, coordinated a Spanish Mass with Fr. Hector, and even planned a surprise visit from a Mariachi band! It was a fun, educational way to celebrate the special holiday.
